Your Data Rights
Last updated: 27 September 2026
1. Your information rights
UK data-protection law provides individuals with rights relating to
personal information. Which rights apply depends on the circumstances
and the lawful basis for processing.
2. Right of access
You may ask whether Destination Hub processes your personal information
and request access to information to which the right applies, together
with associated information required by law.
3. Right to rectification
You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information or complete
information that is incomplete.
4. Right to erasure
You may ask us to erase personal information in circumstances where
the right applies.
This is not an absolute right. Information may sometimes need to be
retained for legal obligations, establishment or defence of legal
claims, contractual records or other lawful reasons.
5. Right to restriction
You may ask us to restrict processing in circumstances provided by
data-protection law.
6. Right to data portability
Where the legal conditions are met, you may have a right to receive
certain personal information in a structured, commonly used and
machine-readable format or have it transmitted to another controller
where technically feasible.
7. Right to object
Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may have a
right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Separate rights apply in relation to direct marketing where applicable.
8. Withdrawing consent
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at
any time.
For optional website technologies, select Privacy choices
in the Destination Hub footer.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent
was withdrawn.
9. Automated decision-making
Where applicable law provides rights relating to qualifying solely
automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant
effects, those rights will be respected.
10. How to make a request
Email
support@destinationhub.co.uk.
Tell us which right you wish to exercise and provide enough information
for us to identify you and locate the relevant records.
11. Identity verification
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity,
particularly before disclosing personal information.
We will not ask for more verification information than reasonably
necessary for that purpose.
12. Requests made for another person
If you make a request on behalf of somebody else, we may need evidence
that you are authorised to act for them.
13. Response period
We will respond within the period required by applicable
data-protection law.
Where the law permits additional time for a complex request or multiple
requests, we will provide the information required by law.
14. Fees
Data-protection requests are generally handled without charge.
Applicable law permits a reasonable fee or other action in limited
circumstances, including certain manifestly unfounded or excessive
requests.
15. Complaining to us
