Your search for the Syndicate starts on Plaza de la Constitución, at the heart of Málaga, and heads straight into the narrow streets behind it. The route takes you past Plaza del Obispo and the Museo Casa Natal de Picasso before doubling back through the shaded lanes of the centre. It is an outdoor escape room in the open air: no locked doors, just a city full of clues. Málaga rewards walkers, and this route keeps to the flat old town rather than the hills above it, so families, friends, couples and work groups can all keep up. Two to five players form a team around a single phone, and every one of them plays a character with their own role to fill. When more people want in, the group divides into separate teams.
