Secrets of Bangkok begins at the Statue of King Rama IV and turns the old royal quarter into a self-guided walking tour. The route heads for Wat Phra Kaew and passes the Royal Clock Tower on the way. At each of those stops the game gives you something to read about what you are looking at. Along the way it plays like a scavenger hunt through Bangkok, with something to find at every stop. It suits couples, families, groups of friends and colleagues, and works for a single player too. One ticket covers a team of one to four sharing one phone, and larger groups take extra tickets and split into teams. No guide walks ahead of you and there is no fixed departure, so you choose your own time to start in Bangkok. How to play. From the statue onward the game runs entirely on your own phone. Between the points there are puzzles, riddles and photo tasks that decide where you go next. Some ask for a close look at a detail, others for a photograph taken from the right spot. The Phan Loha Fountain is one of the places the route brings you to, and the game explains what you have found.
