The trail starts at Rådhuset, the city hall on the Oslo waterfront, where the case file and a first set of questions are waiting. From there it climbs into the streets of the centre, past the Nationaltheatret and the lawns of Spikersuppa, then turns down towards Akershus Fortress above the harbour. It is a murder mystery game played on foot, at walking pace, with the city standing in for the crime scene. The centre of Oslo is compact and easy underfoot, which makes the route straightforward for families with children, for friends, couples and colleagues, and for anyone who would rather play alone. A team is up to four people sharing one phone, so larger groups buy extra tickets and split up, which keeps everyone reading the clues instead of peering over a shoulder.
