Hauptmarkt in Nuremberg is where the case begins, beside the Schöner Brunnen and in front of the Frauenkirche. From the square the route runs through the old town to St. Sebald and on into the lanes beyond it. It is a self-guided murder mystery game, walked at your own speed through Nuremberg. The old town has some slope to it, so there is a bit of climbing between clues, but nothing demanding: families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues all get round it, and playing alone is fine. Teams hold up to four players and one phone, and larger groups form extra teams. There is no guide and no fixed start time, so a crowded Hauptmarkt never holds you up. How to play.
