About this experience

This is Northern Greece as you have never experienced it before. A Journey of the Senses. An immersive 8-day experiential tour for up to 15 travellers, designed to engage all five senses through hands-on encounters with local culture, cuisine, craft, nature, and the living traditions of one of Europe's most authentic and unspoilt regions. From a Xinomavro wine tasting at a Naousa winery and a traditional costume workshop where you paint your own carnival mask, to relaxing in the naturally heated Pozar Thermal Springs and joining a pepper farm walk in Amyntaio, every day is an experience, not just a visit. Wildlife lovers will be moved by the Arcturos Bear and Wolf Conservation Centre in Nymfaio. Birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts will treasure a boat trip across the pristine Prespes Lakes to the tiny island of Agios Achillios, with its Byzantine ruins and rare bird species. The journey continues through the UNESCO-worthy stone villages of Zagorochoria and the vertiginous Vikos Gorge, one of the world's deepest canyons — before crossing into Epirus for a boat trip to the island of Ioannina and the dramatic story of Ali Pasha. A silversmith workshop at the Traditional Crafts Centre, a Metsovone cheese cellar tasting, a mushroom workshop in Grevena, a light hike through the Enipeas Gorge at the foot of Mount Olympus, and a hands-on cooking lesson with local cooks in Halkidiki round off seven days of extraordinary, memorable encounters.
