Nordlingen still has its complete medieval wall, and this walk makes use of it. You set out at the Kriegerbrunnen on the Marktplatz, then follow the trail out to the Löpsingen Gate and along the Stadtmauer, passing the Stadtmuseum and the Rieskrater Museum on the way. It is a detective game played on foot, with the walled town as the setting. The circuit inside the walls is small and level, which makes Nordlingen an easy town to cover with children in tow, with friends, as a couple or with colleagues, and playing solo works just as well. Up to four people form one team and share a single phone, so anyone in a bigger party joins a second or third team instead. Nobody is waiting to lead you and there is no departure to catch, so you can linger at a gate for as long as you like. How to play.
