The starting point in Mykonos is Villa Coventina, and from there the case leads down into the lanes of the town. You cross Manto Mavrogenous Square, work your way towards Panagia Paraportiani and end up on the slope where the Windmills of Mykonos stand above the water. It is a self-guided walking tour in the shape of a detective game, played from your phone. The old town is a maze of white alleys with a few short climbs, which suits families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and one player alone will manage it as well. A team is up to four people sharing a phone, and larger groups take a ticket per team. There is no guide and no fixed start, so you can take on Mykonos in the quiet of the morning or once the day has cooled. How to play. Only one app is needed, and the rest happens out on the street.
