Marienplatz is where the case is handed over, with the Rathausturm above you and St. Peter's Church a few steps behind. From there the route threads through the old centre of Munich, past the Frauenkirche and out towards Max-Joseph-Platz. This is a murder mystery walking tour you run yourself, without a guide and without a group to keep up with. It is built for families with children, groups of friends, couples and teams from work, and one person can take it on alone just as easily. Up to four players share a phone as one team; beyond that, buy another ticket and send a second team out. The centre of Munich is largely flat and given over to pedestrians, though Marienplatz and the streets around it fill up quickly, so a team that wants quiet can drift a block away and read the clue there.
