The trail starts at Palazzo Marino in the centre of Milan and works outward through the streets around it. On foot you pass Teatro alla Scala, cross towards Piazza del Duomo, and carry on as far as Sforzesco Castle at the edge of the old core. It is a self-guided murder mystery game, and Milan itself stands in for the crime scene. The centre is dense and walkable, so the route stays on pavement the whole way, although the streets near the Duomo get crowded at weekends. A team is up to four people sharing one phone; larger groups split into several teams and set off separately, and one person on their own can play the whole case.
