This case is set in Ciutadella de Menorca, and the route keeps to the old town around Plaça des Born. From the square you walk to the cathedral basilica of Ciutadella, then through Plaça Nova and the lanes towards Bastió de sa Font at the edge of the old defences. It is a self-guided detective game, played from your phone, in the oldest streets on Menorca. Distances here are short and mostly shaded, so the game suits families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and a single player can work through it too. Up to four players share one phone as a team; larger groups take a ticket each and play side by side. There is no guide and no set departure time, which on Menorca usually means starting early or waiting for the late afternoon. How to play. The setup is quick, and after that the phone does the work. You break codes, complete photo tasks and read statements from digital characters who are not all telling the truth. The old harbour of Ciutadella and the front of the Església del Roser both give up details, as does the Palau Salort further along the street, and each answer narrows the field.
