In Liège the case opens at the town hall on the place du Marché and heads through the centre from there. You take in Place Saint-Lambert, the Marché de la Batte and the steps of the Montagne de Bueren, with Saint-Paul Cathedral a little further on. The whole thing is a self-guided walking tour built around a murder investigation. Liège is not entirely flat and the Montagne de Bueren is there if you want it, but the route itself stays manageable for families with children, friends, couples and colleagues, and works the same way for one player alone. A team is up to four people on a single phone, and larger groups split into as many teams as they like. Nobody is leading you and nothing starts at a fixed hour. How to play.
