This case opens at the city hall in Kos and drops straight into the old centre. The route runs across Eleftherias Central Square, past the Defterdar Mosque and on to the Hippocrates Plane Tree, with Nerantzia Castle standing at the harbour entrance beyond it. It is a self-guided murder mystery game, played from your phone, with the town itself as the setting. Kos town is flat and everything sits close together, which makes it easy going for families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and it can be played alone. Up to four people form a team on one phone, and a larger group buys a ticket per team and plays against the others. Coded messages, photo tasks and statements from digital characters follow one another as you walk, and evidence appears around the Roman Odeon of Kos, near the Casa Romana and along the harbour district. The Archaeological Museum of Kos comes into it as well, and each answer removes a suspect from the list.
