Am Plan, the square in the old town of Koblenz, is where the case is handed over, with the Liebfrauenkirche standing just above it. The clues lead out through the lanes of the Altstadt and down towards the Deutsches Eck, where the Mosel runs into the Rhine. It is a detective game played on foot and without a guide, using the streets of Koblenz as the board. The old town is flat and closely packed, and the walk to the water is short, so the route stays comfortable for families with children and for colleagues who did not dress for a hike. A team is up to four people sharing one phone; if you are with a larger group, take a ticket per team and let them run separately. Solo players do fine.
