A self-drive adventure through the most spectacular parts of the island from the wild Atlantic coast of Kerry and Clare to the rolling mountains of Wicklow and the labyrinthine waterways of Wexford. The adventure begins in the Wicklow Mountains, where an optional cliff walk at Bray Head opens proceedings. Day 2 explores Glendalough's glacial valley — experienced walkers can tackle the Spinc and Glenealo Valley Walk (10 km). In Wexford, your included guided sea kayaking trip (approx. 3 hours) takes you through caves and surf gates with a full wetsuit, guide, snacks, and hot chocolate provided. The tour moves west to Cork, where a guided bicycle city tour (approx. 3 hours, Monday–Saturday) covers 30+ bridges, Shandon, the University College campus, and Elizabeth Fort. Cork is also Ireland's culinary capital, savour the post-ride calories. Three nights in Kerry allow a full Ring of Kerry circuit (180 km), the Kerry Cliffs, Muckross National Park, and on Day 9, a guided horse-riding trip on the Dingle Peninsula (no experience required).
