Silfra Fissure Snorkeling Odyssey - with Pickup in Reykjavík | Free Underwater Photos & Hot Coco!. Tour Highlights:. Convenient pickup & dropoff in Reykjavík from designated locations. The Silfra Fissure is located in the the stunning Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site 45 minutes from Reykjavík. Snorkel between the separating North American and Eurasian tectonic plates - a geological marvel only found in Silfra. Experience the clearest waters in the world! The glacial water originates from Langjökull (Long Glacier) and is naturally filtered through lava fields, resulting in some of the purest water on Earth,with an incredible visibility of up to 150 meters. Expert guide per guest ratio: 1:6. Pick Up. Please be at your selected pick up location at your scheduled departure time. Your comfortable minibus will be marked with an Arctic Adventures logo. The pickup process can take up to 30 minutes, thank you in advance for your patience.
