The Korenmarkt in Ghent is where the investigation begins, with the Design Museum Gent a few streets away. From there the trail crosses Saint Michael's Bridge, climbs towards Saint Bavo's Cathedral and passes under the Belfry of Ghent. This is a self-guided murder mystery game, played on foot, with the medieval core as the crime scene. Ghent packs its landmarks into a small area, so the walking stays easy and the stops come quickly, which suits families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues alike. A team is up to four people sharing a single phone; larger groups split into several teams and compare progress afterwards. Playing alone works too.
