Let´s go and explore the legacy of Franz Kafka. You will find it throughout the narrow streets and picturesque squares of Prague. For a writer who artfully mixed realism with the fantastical, it makes sense that many of his appearances in the city are less than obvious. Here’s where to find them. Most of the places you can see also in movie Kafka (1991). This is the kind of experimental film by director Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven, Erin Brockovich). This loose adaptation of Kafka’s The Castle stars Jeremy Irons as the writer, and was shot throughout Prague, making memorable use of landmarks including Prague Castle and Charles Bridge.
