Your journey begins at our e-bike base, where you’ll receive a short introduction to your bike and safety guidelines. Once ready, set off toward Nara’s historic heart, cycling first to the impressive Nandaimon Gate, the grand entrance to the Todaiji temple complex. Continue into Nara Park, where you’ll enjoy a memorable deer feeding experience—special cookies are provided, giving you a chance to interact with the park’s famous free-roaming deer. Next, visit the majestic Todaiji Temple, home to the awe-inspiring Great Buddha statue, one of Japan’s most significant cultural treasures. From there, ride to Kikuichi Monjushiro Kanenaga, a historic knife-making company. Here, you’ll gain insight into Japanese craftsmanship, samurai-era traditions, and the evolution of culinary knives, with your guide assisting you should you wish to explore or shop. The tour continues toward the serene Kasuga Taisha, a Shinto shrine renowned for its lantern-lined pathways and deep spiritual atmosphere, nestled within the forest.
