The trail starts in Burj Khalifa Park in Dubai, on the green side of the downtown district, and leads out from there onto Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. It carries on past Dubai Opera and around the edge of the water where the Dubai Fountain stands. This is a self-guided murder mystery game set among the towers of the downtown area. Downtown Dubai is flat and the pavements are wide, so the walking is straightforward for families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and a single player manages fine. Shade matters more than distance here, and the route leaves plenty of chances to step out of the sun.
