Alter Markt is the starting point, and the route runs from the square through the old town below the cathedral. It passes Museum Ludwig and comes up under the towers of the Kölner Dom before turning back into the narrow streets. It is a self-guided walking tour with a murder at the centre of it, set in the old town of Cologne. Everything here lies close together, so the walking between clues is short.
