Enjoy a guided tour of one of England's most famous palaces & gardens but also home to the Churchill family and Duke of Marlborough. Our tour will describe the destiny of events which led to the creation of Blenheim palace. Its creation was no easy achievement- the main architect was even refused entry to see his completed work! However, it is open today for all to enjoy its sumptuous interior and its expansive gardens, lake house and maze. Palace entry ticket worth £41 per person is included in your tour price. Outwards journey from Oxford to palace worth £36, also paid by the guide plus complimentary hot drink and palace souvenir guidebook. . Guide led introduction using visual props takes place outside of the palace state rooms and duration is 30 to 60 minutes. You then have free time to join the palace's self guided audio guide entry to the palace and the guide can assist you to purchase entry tickets. Note that the palace state rooms entry ticket cost is NOT included in the tour activity. Return transport costs to Oxford are not included & cost either about £30+ in taxi or about £3 by bus per person. OPTION ALSO EXISTS TO SELECT TO ADD ON A 90 MINUTES PRIVATE WALKING TOUR OF OXFORD AT START OF THE TOUR FOR ADDITIONAL FEE. DISCLAIMER: during mid November to end December, the palace has a Christmas display that may obstruct state rooms.
