Play starts at the Mairie de Bergerac and moves within a couple of minutes into the old town, where Place de la Mirpe and the statue of Cyrano de Bergerac mark the first stops. From there the route threads towards the Cloître des Récollets and the streets running down to the Dordogne. It is a self-guided walking tour built around a murder investigation. Bergerac keeps everything close together, so the walking is gentle and the pauses between clues are short. That makes it easy for families with children, and just as usable for groups of friends, couples, colleagues or a single player. One ticket covers a team of up to four sharing one phone, and a bigger party buys further tickets and plays as separate teams. You will not be following a guide, and no start time is fixed for you.
