In Beirut the case is handed over by the parliament offices on Place de l'Étoile, in the middle of the downtown district. From there the route leads past Saint George's Maronite Cathedral and into the arcades of the Beirut Souks. It is a self-guided murder mystery game, played on foot and at your own speed. The downtown streets are wide and flat and the distances are short, so the walking suits families with children as easily as a group of colleagues. A team is one to four people with one phone between them, and a larger party splits into teams that set off together. Couples, friends and single players all get the same game, played the same way. With several teams out at the same time it becomes a race between them, which is why it works as a teambuilding afternoon.
