The case is picked up in the Stadspark on the Stadhuispromenade, in the centre of Almere. From there the route runs past De Nieuwe Bibliotheek and along the raised streets towards The Wave. Almere is newer than most of the cities in this series, which makes for a murder mystery game set among concrete, glass and water rather than old walls. The centre is flat, sheltered and quick to cross, so the walk suits families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and playing solo is fine as well. A team is up to four people on one phone; a larger group buys extra tickets and splits, which keeps everyone involved instead of trailing behind. The trail takes in the Esplanade and the Kunstlinie and comes down to the water at the Weerwater, where the last of the answers surface. More than one team on the route makes it a contest, which is what turns the afternoon into a teambuilding session.
