On this 3 day excursion, we will visit the most requested sites in Iceland. The tour will start with Reykjavik pickup at the nearest Tour Bus Stop if lodging downtown, or other major hotel. On our first day, we will explore the Golden Circle. Highlights will include: Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, Geysir and Kerid Crater. The Golden Circle is the original Iceland tour, and has a beauty all its own. Lodging is a 3 star hotel in Reykjavik or near the Golden Circle with included breakfast. . After breakfast on our second day, The day’s first stop is at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can even walk behind the waterfall. From there, you will continue your fantastic first day around the South Coast. Further stops on day one include Gljufrabui waterfall, Skogafoss waterfall, and the famous Reynisfjara black sand beach. Your knowledgeable guide will give you information at each stop, and you will end the day with a new appreciation for Iceland’s unparalleled natural beauty. But the most exciting part of today is hiking on Solheimajokull Glacier! You will get your professional glacier guide and all the necessary equipment, then please enjoy the adventure . After a day of exploring this varied region, you will stop for the night at a hotel to rest and refuel in preparation for an exciting day two of the tour.
