Cancellations & Refunds
Last updated: 27 September 2026
1. Booking-specific conditions
Cancellation and refund conditions vary between hotels, attractions,
experiences and individual rates. Always review the conditions shown
for the selected service before booking and retain your confirmation.
2. Free cancellation
Where a booking states that free cancellation is available, the
applicable deadline will be displayed or communicated as part of the
booking conditions.
A cancellation submitted after the applicable deadline may result in a
charge. Where a deadline is stated using a particular time zone, that
time zone applies.
3. Non-refundable bookings
Some rates, tickets or services are non-refundable from the time of
booking or become non-refundable from a specified deadline.
Where this applies, the relevant condition should be displayed before
you complete the booking.
4. Dated accommodation and leisure services
The usual statutory cancellation right applying to many distance
contracts does not generally apply to accommodation and leisure
services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of
performance.
Booking-specific cancellation conditions therefore normally govern
dated hotel stays and attractions. This does not remove other statutory
rights that apply.
5. How to cancel
Where self-service cancellation is available, use
Booking Management.
If self-service cancellation is not available, use
Contact Us as soon as possible and provide
your booking reference and the email address used for the booking.
6. Cancellation verification
Where cancellation eligibility or an applicable charge depends on
current travel-provider information, Destination Hub may verify the
current cancellation conditions before completing the cancellation.
7. Refund amounts
Where a refund is due, the amount depends on the booking conditions,
the timing of cancellation, applicable cancellation charges and any
mandatory legal rights.
If only part of a booking is refundable, the refund may be limited to
the refundable part.
8. Refund method
Refunds will normally be processed using the appropriate payment route.
Where reasonably possible, a refund will generally be returned through
the payment method associated with the original transaction.
9. Refund processing time
The time required for a refund to appear can depend on the payment
method, payment service provider, bank and travel provider.
A refund being processed by Destination Hub does not necessarily mean
that the funds will appear immediately in your account.
10. Travel provider cancellation or material change
If a travel provider cancels or materially changes a confirmed service,
the available refund, alternative or other remedy depends on the
booking, circumstances, booking conditions and applicable law.
Where we receive notice of such a change, we will communicate the
information and options available to us.
11. Failed or uncertain bookings
If a booking or payment appears uncertain, contact Destination Hub
before attempting another payment or duplicate booking.
This allows us to check the existing status and can reduce the risk of
duplicate transactions.
12. Promotional discounts
Where a booking was made using a promotional discount, any refund is
normally calculated by reference to the amount actually payable for the
booking, subject to the applicable booking conditions and law.
13. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes cancellation, refund, repeat-performance,
price-reduction or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be
excluded.
