Please read these Terms before using Destination Hub or making
a booking.
These Terms apply to the Destination Hub website, hotel searches,
hotel booking requests, attractions and experiences, online checkout,
competitor price checks, price challenges, payments and Booking
Management.
Booking-specific conditions displayed before you book and conditions
applicable to the selected travel service also form part of the
relevant booking.
1. About Destination Hub
Destination Hub is operated by Destination Hub Limited, a company
registered in England and Wales under company number 17323588.
Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom,
EC1V 2NX.
You can contact us using our
Contact Us page or by emailing
support@destinationhub.co.uk.
2. Our role
Destination Hub provides travel search, retail and booking-arrangement
services.
Accommodation, attractions, experiences and other travel services
available through Destination Hub may be provided or operated by
third-party hotels, accommodation providers, attraction operators,
experience operators or other travel providers.
Where applicable and available to us, information about the relevant
property or operator and material booking conditions is presented in
the product information, rate details, checkout or booking
confirmation.
Booking-specific conditions applicable to the selected travel service
may apply in addition to these Terms.
3. Information before you book
Before becoming bound by a booking, you should review the information
presented for the selected service, including:
- the main characteristics of the service;
- travel, attendance, check-in or check-out dates;
- guest or participant details;
- room, ticket or service type;
- meal plan and inclusions where applicable;
- total price;
- payment arrangements;
- cancellation and amendment conditions;
- material restrictions or eligibility requirements;
- amounts payable locally where applicable and known to us.
Contact Destination Hub before booking if anything important is
unclear.
4. Hotel searches and availability
Hotel prices, room information, availability and booking conditions
displayed on Destination Hub are based on live or recently retrieved
travel information.
Travel inventory and prices can change quickly. A room or rate
appearing in search results is not guaranteed to remain available
until a booking has been confirmed.
5. Request to Book
Where a hotel or another service is offered using
Request to Book, submitting the request does not
itself create or guarantee a reservation and does not necessarily hold
inventory.
Destination Hub may perform a final live verification of the selected
service, price, availability and booking conditions before processing
the request.
A booking exists only when it has been accepted and Destination Hub
has issued confirmation.
If the price, room, board basis, cancellation condition or another
material term changes before confirmation, the changed option will not
be treated as confirmed without providing you with the updated
information and, where required, obtaining your agreement.
6. Live rate verification
A rate displayed during search may be rechecked before a booking
request or instant booking proceeds.
This final verification is intended to confirm current availability,
price and material booking conditions.
If the selected option is no longer available, you may be asked to
review current alternatives. If the customer-facing price materially
changes before confirmation, the updated price will be shown before
you are asked to proceed.
7. Attractions and experiences
For attractions and experiences, availability, operating times,
ticket categories, participant requirements, age rules, meeting
points, inclusions, exclusions and cancellation conditions may depend
on information provided for the relevant service.
You are responsible for reviewing the selected date, time, ticket
category, participant details and material booking conditions before
completing a booking.
8. Attraction checkout and confirmation
Where secure online checkout is available for an attraction or
experience, payment and booking confirmation are handled according to
the checkout process displayed to you.
A payment authorisation, pending payment or successful submission of
payment information does not by itself mean that the travel service
has been confirmed.
A booking is confirmed when the relevant booking process completes
successfully and confirmation is issued.
9. Contract formation
Website search results, availability displays, “from”
prices, quotes and booking requests are invitations to proceed and are
not themselves booking confirmations.
A contract relating to a particular travel service is formed when the
booking is accepted and confirmation is issued, subject to the
conditions applicable to that booking.
Keep your confirmation and booking reference. Contact Destination Hub
promptly if information in the confirmation appears incorrect.
10. Prices
Destination Hub aims to provide clear price information before you
become bound by a booking.
Where the total price can reasonably be calculated from information
available to us, the amount presented before booking is intended to
include mandatory taxes, fees and charges that must be paid for the
selected service.
If a mandatory variable or local charge cannot reasonably be
calculated in advance, we may identify the charge or how it is
calculated where that information is available to us.
Amounts payable locally may be shown separately for clarity.
11. Currency and exchange rates
Destination Hub may display travel prices in pounds sterling or
convert amounts into pounds sterling for customer presentation.
Exchange rates can change. A bank, card issuer or payment service
provider may use a different exchange rate or impose its own fees.
Charges imposed independently by your financial provider are outside
Destination Hub's control.
12. Competitor price checks
Destination Hub may provide an optional competitor-checking feature
for selected accommodation.
A competitor check is a time-sensitive comparison of competitors'
public prices successfully returned for the selected hotel, dates and
search conditions.
The comparison may cover only competitors for which usable pricing
information was successfully returned. It does not mean Destination
Hub has checked every travel website and does not guarantee that our
price is the lowest price available anywhere.
Competitors' public prices can change at any time.
13. Like-for-like price comparisons
A meaningful price comparison can be affected by differences
including:
- room type;
- occupancy;
- meal plan;
- cancellation flexibility;
- payment timing;
- taxes and mandatory charges;
- amounts payable locally;
- membership-only or account-specific prices;
- loyalty discounts;
- mobile or app-only prices;
- package or bundled rates;
- other restrictions, inclusions or benefits.
Where a competitor check enables Destination Hub to reduce its
displayed customer price, the updated Destination Hub price will be
shown before you continue.
14. Price challenges
Where Destination Hub provides a price-challenge facility, information
submitted by the customer is subject to like-for-like verification,
current availability and rate changes.
Submitting a price challenge does not guarantee that Destination Hub
will match or beat another price.
We may check whether the competitor offer is sufficiently comparable,
whether it remains publicly available and whether the information
submitted can reasonably be verified.
15. Promotional codes and discounts
Promotional codes and discounts are subject to any conditions shown
with the promotion.
Unless stated otherwise, a promotional code:
- cannot be exchanged for cash;
- may be restricted to particular services, bookings or dates;
- does not reserve availability;
- may have an expiry date or usage restriction;
- may not be combinable with another promotion.
A promotion does not remove mandatory charges applying to the selected
service.
16. Payment methods
Available payment methods depend on the booking.
A booking may use secure online card payment, bank transfer, payment
by a stated deadline or another payment arrangement displayed during
the booking process.
The amount, currency, payment timing and any applicable payment
deadline will be communicated before the booking is completed.
17. Stripe payments
Where Destination Hub offers supported online card payment,
Stripe may provide the secure payment technology used
to collect and process payment information.
Payment information entered into the Stripe payment interface is
processed through Stripe's payment technology. Stripe may process
information in accordance with its own legal and privacy
responsibilities.
Destination Hub does not ask customers to send complete payment-card
credentials through ordinary email or general contact forms.
18. Payment authorisation
A card authorisation, pending card transaction or successful payment
submission is not itself proof that the travel booking has been
confirmed.
If a payment or booking status appears uncertain, contact Destination
Hub before attempting another payment or duplicate booking.
19. Pay-later arrangements
Where a booking is offered with payment due later, the applicable
payment deadline will be communicated as part of the booking
information.
You are responsible for ensuring that the required payment reaches
Destination Hub by the stated deadline. Failure to pay when required
may result in the booking not being completed or, where permitted by
the booking conditions, being cancelled.
20. Cancellations and amendments
Cancellation and amendment rights depend on the conditions applying to
the selected rate, ticket or travel service.
Some bookings permit free cancellation until a specified deadline.
Others may involve a cancellation charge or may be non-refundable.
The booking-specific cancellation conditions displayed before booking
and in your confirmation should be reviewed carefully.
21. Cooling-off rights for dated travel services
The usual statutory cancellation right applying to many distance
contracts does not generally apply to accommodation and services
related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a
specific date or period of performance.
Dated hotel stays and many dated attractions therefore normally depend
on their booking-specific cancellation conditions.
This does not remove any other statutory rights that apply.
22. Booking Management
Where available, Booking Management allows customers to retrieve
information about an existing booking using the required booking
credentials.
Available functionality may include viewing booking information,
payment status, cancellation conditions and available cancellation
options.
Where self-service cancellation is offered, current cancellation
eligibility may be rechecked before a cancellation request is
completed.
23. Refunds
Where a refund is due, the amount depends on the booking conditions,
timing of cancellation, applicable cancellation charges and statutory
rights.
Refund processing time can depend on the payment method, payment
service provider, bank and travel provider.
See our
Cancellations & Refunds page for further information.
24. Changes or cancellation by a travel provider
A hotel, attraction operator or another travel provider may
occasionally change or cancel a service because of operational,
availability, safety or other circumstances.
Where Destination Hub is notified of a material change affecting a
confirmed booking, we will communicate the information reasonably
available to us and the options required by the booking conditions and
applicable law.
25. Your booking information
You are responsible for providing accurate information required for
the booking, including where applicable:
- correct names;
- travel or attendance dates;
- guest or participant numbers;
- child ages where requested;
- contact information;
- other information reasonably required for the selected service.
Check booking information carefully before submitting it and review
your confirmation after it is issued.
26. Passports, visas and travel requirements
Unless Destination Hub expressly agrees to provide a particular
service, travellers are responsible for checking and satisfying
applicable passport, visa, immigration, entry, health and other travel
requirements.
Requirements can depend on nationality, destination, transit points,
personal circumstances and travel dates.
27. Special requests and accessibility
Special requests, accessibility requirements, dietary requests and
similar requirements should be raised before booking where possible.
A request is not guaranteed merely because it has been submitted.
Where a requirement is essential to your decision to travel or
participate, obtain appropriate confirmation before completing the
booking.
28. Travel-provider rules and conduct
Customers and travellers must comply with reasonable rules applying to
the hotel, attraction, experience or other travel service.
A travel provider may refuse or terminate service where permitted by
law and the booking conditions, including in response to serious
misconduct, unlawful behaviour or safety risks.
29. Product descriptions and images
Destination Hub takes reasonable steps to present travel information
accurately.
Hotel facilities, room information, attraction itineraries, meeting
points, operating arrangements and other travel information can
change.
Where we become aware of a material error before booking, we will take
reasonable steps to correct it.
Images may be illustrative unless identified as showing the specific
room, ticket or service being booked.
30. Google Maps and location information
Destination Hub may use Google Maps to display hotel,
property, attraction or other location information.
Map information is provided for convenience and should not replace
booking-specific directions, meeting-point information or instructions
provided for the selected service.
When Google Maps functionality is loaded or used, Google may process
technical information in accordance with its own legal and privacy
responsibilities.
31. Website availability
Destination Hub aims to keep its website and booking services
available, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The website may occasionally be unavailable or restricted because of
maintenance, security work, technical failures, external service
failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
32. Events outside reasonable control
Travel services can be affected by circumstances outside the
reasonable control of Destination Hub or a travel provider, including
severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, government action,
security incidents, public-health measures and transport disruption.
Your rights and available options depend on the circumstances,
booking conditions and mandatory law.
33. Packages and linked travel arrangements
Destination Hub normally offers individual travel services, such as a
hotel booking or an attraction or experience booking, rather than
combining them into a package.
Whether a particular transaction is legally a package or linked travel
arrangement depends on the applicable legislation and facts of the
transaction.
If statutory protections relating to packages or linked travel
arrangements apply to a particular transaction, nothing in these Terms
excludes or limits those protections.
34. Personal information
Destination Hub processes personal information as described in our
Privacy Policy.
Information may need to be shared with relevant travel providers,
reservation technology providers, payment service providers and other
organisations where necessary to arrange, administer or support the
service you request.
Please do not provide unnecessary sensitive information in free-text
fields.
35. Cookies and privacy choices
Information about cookies and similar technologies is available in our
Cookie Policy.
Where optional technologies require consent, you can manage your
choice using Privacy choices in the website footer.
36. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact Destination Hub as soon as
reasonably possible.
Use our Contact Us page or see our
Complaints information.
Where a complaint concerns another travel provider, Destination Hub may
need to communicate relevant booking and complaint information to that
provider so that the matter can be investigated.
37. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts consumer rights or other
legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where Destination Hub itself provides a service to a consumer,
applicable statutory standards, including reasonable care and skill
where relevant, continue to apply.
38. Liability that cannot be excluded
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where it would
be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury
caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights
and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
39. Governing law
These Terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the law of
England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, mandatory consumer
protections available to you under applicable law are unaffected.
40. Courts
The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction,
subject to any mandatory rights a consumer has to bring proceedings in
another court.
41. If part of these Terms is unenforceable
If a provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable,
the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as the law permits.
42. Changes to these Terms
Destination Hub may update these Terms for future use of the website
and future bookings.
The version made available when you enter into a booking, together with
the booking-specific conditions, is the version relevant to that
booking.
